School is cool! I miss being in school with my students!

My name is Michelle Cordova, mom to Amaya and Taylor, and teacher of first graders.  I was born and raised in Truchas, NM. I went through Espanola Public Schools and then on to New Mexico Highlands University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.  Next, I went on to receive my Masters of Arts in Reading with an Emphasis in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University.  I have been working with children and have been teaching for 21 years.   I absolutely love teaching 6 & 7 year olds.  I enjoy inspiring children to learn and strive for their goals! Teaching is my passion!

My Favorite things that I would like to share about myself and soon would like to know about each one of you is:

Favorite Classroom Item: My Promethean board which I already miss.

Favorite Place to Visit: Denver and Santa Fe.

Favorite Color: Green.

Favorite Stuff: Shoes, and Rocks.

Favorite breakfast food: White Monster Energy drink and breakfast bar.
