Hello, my name is Esteban Cole. I have been appointed a member of the support staff team at ABA as math interventionist and district test coordinator. This is my 10th year at Albuquerque Bilingual Academy. I was born in Quito, Ecuador. I lived in Boston for two years and have been in Albuquerque for 19 years. I attended Manzano HS and graduated from UNM. I received my BA in Spanish from the University of New Mexico and a minor in Portuguese. I also spent 3 years at CNM doing my post-baccalaureate degree in Education receiving my teaching license in Kinder through 8th grade with endorsements in Bilingual Education, TESOL, and Modern and Classical Languages. I earned a master's degree in Pedagogy and Learning at Eastern New Mexico University. I am a highly qualified bilingual teacher that will provide the best education for all students.
I am a very active person. In the past 8 years, I coached soccer, flag football, volleyball, and cross country. Coaching has been a great experience for me and for the students who participate in sports. I am very proud to get out there and represent Albuquerque Bilingual Academy.
