Hello, 

Thank you for visiting my page. 

My name is Priyam Banerjee and I'm the reading interventionist here at Albuquerque Bilingual Academy. This is my 8th year teaching at ABA. Prior to this, I taught PreK and 3rd grade at ABA and kindergarten at a private school in Albuquerque. I have also taught 4-6th grade Social Studies and English Language Arts in Calcutta, India where I'm originally from. My husband and I have been living in Albuquerque for the past 12 years now. In my spare time, I love to read horror and sci-fi novels and try new baking recipes.

I graduated magna cum laude from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York with my B.A. in 2009. I hold a Level II New Mexico teaching licensure in early childhood education (Birth - 3rd grade) with a endorsements in TESOL/ Visual Media Arts/ Reading. Currently, I am working on my Master's in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of New Mexico.
