My Name is Ashley Torres. I was born in Los Angeles, California, when I was 10 I moved to Deming NM. I decided I needed a bigger city so when I turned 17 and graduated high school I moved to Albuquerque. I attended UNM from 2011-2016 and received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. This is my 4th year teaching, I have taught Kindergarten, third, and fourth and this is my first year at Albuquerque Bilingual Academy. 

I love being a teacher! Both my parents are teachers so I suppose I followed in their footsteps, and I am happy I did. I love traveling, reading great thriller novels, going on hikes, working out, and of course shopping! 

This career is so rewarding to be and I thank you for entrusting me with your amazing children that out a smile on my face every single day!
